Prepress Technician4+ Yrs of Experience Location: Bangalore, Bannerghatta Road | Work Mode: Onsite (5 days office, no hybrid, no work‑from‑home option)OverviewThe Graphics Prepress Technician is a senior level position and is accountable for all tasks/duties described in this job description as well as other assignments as directed by management. The Prepress Graphics Technician sets the foundation for successful printing production. They ensure that the proper format, appearance, and layout is set before the full print run is completed.Responsibilities:Complies with all company and safety policies and proceduresConvert supplied files and or use supplied instructions to create final proof filesApplies minimum print specifications to filesOutputs proofsConvert approved proof files to final stepped files for plate outputUtilizes management system to complete Evaluations and Job tasks, communicate directions in Comments and Set Up NotesReview finished files, including the completion of QA checklistInteracts with Customer Account Representatives or Management concerning job specifications or special requirementsCollaborates with development team to identify and deploy new automation to optimize productionParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesAttends department meetings and internal training classesOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:College degree, ideally related to the printing industryMinimum 5 years experience prepress environmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable tasksIntimate knowledge in preparing/planning artwork for high-volume printingKnowledge of color separations, press layouts, print specificationsProficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopExperience in Esko Automation Engine and Esko ArtProAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with strong organizational and planning skillsFull color vision (no color blindness)Excellent English
