Job Description

As the Design Lead, you’ll be responsible for guiding and managing the design team while directly contributing to projects to ensure a high level of output. Your role will involve overseeing design strategies, maintaining brand consistency, and delivering visually impactful experiences. You’ll be expected to lead by example, often stepping in to push campaigns forward, particularly in high-stakes situations where deadlines are tight. Accountability and client satisfaction are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers, providing guidance on design principles, project management, and brand storytelling.
  • Hands-On Design Execution: Be prepared to step in and contribute directly to design projects, especially during critical timelines. Your role extends beyond management to actively ensure the timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to conceptualize and execute campaigns that resonate with target audiences, driving brand engagement and client satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality across all design outputs, from digital assets to video content. Ensure that every piece reflects the brand’s story and meets client expectations.
  • Client Collaboration: Regularly engage with clients to understand their vision, gather feedback, and incorporate it into the final product. Be a trusted advisor to clients, enhancing their confidence in our creative solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technology, continually improving team capabilities and enhancing the quality of output.
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in a design role, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing design work across various channels and formats.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, and video editing tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to both the team and clients.
