Position: Elevator Technician
Location: Kuwait

Responsibilities:
Installation:
- Install, test, and commission elevators and lifting systems designed for heavy-duty applications within steel manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure installation complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Maintenance:
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of elevator systems to ensure optimal performance in a high-demand industrial environment.
- Service and repair components such as motors, gears, pulleys, and electrical systems.
Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with elevator systems used in steel production and handling.
- Respond to service requests and emergency breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all elevator systems adhere to local safety codes and industry-specific regulations, including those relevant to steel manufacturing.
- Implement safety protocols and practices to protect personnel and equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of elevator systems, including those suited for heavy-duty and industrial applications.
- Experience with hydraulic and traction elevators, as well as specialized lifting systems used in steel production.
Problem-Solving:
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues with elevator systems quickly and effectively.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make informed decisions.
Safety and Compliance:
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations specific to the steel industry and industrial environments.
- Proficient in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
Education and Certification:
- Technical diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in elevator installation and maintenance are preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar role within an industrial or steel manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
