Role Description
Guidecraft is seeking a passionate and talented Interior Designer/Interior Architect/Architect for a full-time on-site position. The role involves designing early childhood playrooms/classroom environments that are strategic, functional, harmonious and artistically crafted. This is a unique opportunity to create impactful spaces that shape the learning experiences of young children around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating floor plans and spatial layouts for Preschool projects and Playrooms, aligned with early childhood education principles.
  • Designing and developing 3D models of furniture and objects for the Kujiale library, enhancing planning and visualization capabilities.
  • Creating sketches, revised sketches, completed designs, color renderings, and CAD files for client presentations.
  • Leading customer-facing meetings and presentations, using mood boards to convey design concepts and align with client needs.
  • Strategizing to keep projects within budget while ensuring designs meet both financial constraints and quality standards.
  • Building a comprehensive library of open-source objects tailored to preschool and playroom environments, enriching design possibilities and accessibility.
  • Collaborating with product designers to identify and address gaps in classroom functionality, driving innovation in new product development.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in design tools and educational space planning to maintain a cutting-edge design process.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, V-Ray).
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of design principles.
  • Familiarity with designing environments for children or early education spaces is a bonus.
  • Strong English communication skills, as we operate globally.
