Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and business-savvy Government Bids Specialist to join our team. This is an offshore role that requires close collaboration with our US-based team. The role is essential for identifying and evaluating government bids at both state and federal levels, with a focus on technology, data science, data visualization, ERP, app development, program enhancements, and other related services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these domains and the ability to interpret and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) that may not be explicitly detailed.


Key Responsibilities:

Research & Identification:

  • Conduct thorough searches for government bids and RFPs related to technology and related services.
  • Utilize various online platforms and resources to identify relevant opportunities at state and federal levels.

Analysis & Evaluation:

  • Review and analyze RFPs to determine their relevance and feasibility for Ampersand Energy Solutions.
  • Interpret and understand the technical and business requirements outlined in RFPs.

Proposal Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the US-based team to gather necessary information and prepare comprehensive proposals.
  • Ensure that all bid responses are accurate, compliant, and submitted within specified deadlines.
  • Event and Contact Identification:
  • Identify pre-bid events, conferences, and relevant contacts.
  • Communicate these opportunities and insights to the US-based team.

Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of all identified bids, submitted proposals, and their outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on bid activities and success rates.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a technology-focused company.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing government contracts.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of technology, data science, data visualization, ERP, app development, and program enhancements.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using online bid platforms and government procurement websites.(Sam.gov, Bidnet etc...)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with a US-based team and manage time zone differences.
