Job Summary :


The MDG Developer will be responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP MDG solutions. You will configure and customize MDG processes, build integrations, and ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data across the enterprise, contributing significantly to data quality and governance initiatives.

Required Skills :

- 7-17 years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG development.

- Proficiency in ABAP, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP), Business Add-Ins (BADI), and enhancement frameworks.

- Experience with UI modeling using Floorplan Manager (FPM) and Web Dynpro ABAP.

- Familiarity with BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus), Rule-based workflows, and Change Requests within MDG.

- Good understanding of data replication framework (DRF) and integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and external systems.

- Experience in MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing is preferred.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a complex SAP :


- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within SAP MDG for various master data objects (e.g., Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance).

- Customize and extend standard MDG data models, UI's (using FPM/Web Dynpro ABAP), and business logic using ABAP, OO ABAP, and BAdIs.

- Configure and enhance MDG workflows (Rule-based workflows) and Change Requests to streamline master data creation and change processes.

- Develop and maintain interfaces for data replication (DRF) between MDG and SAP ECC/S/4HANA, as well as non-SAP systems.

- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements for master data processes and translate them into technical designs.

- Utilize BRF+ to implement complex business rules for data validation and derivation.

- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of MDG applications, workflows, and integrations.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for all MDG developments.

- Provide technical expertise and support for existing MDG implementations.

- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data quality standards are met.

- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for all MDG developments and configurations.
