Job Description :

- Designation : (M1) - Data Architect

- Location : Offshore

- Reports to : Project Manager

Responsibilities :

- Provide On premise & Cloud data architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation.

- Design & Architect MS SQL Database Management Solution - MS SQL Server DB, SSIS ETL, SSRS- Reporting Services and Power BI

- Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for data management

- Architect & design data migration patterns from RDBMS to cloud data warehouse

- Own and aggressively drive forward specific areas of AWS technology data architecture. This includes data management architecture involving batch, micro-batch, and real-time streaming of data in both cloud and on-premises solutions

- Design knowledge of data modelling, ELT, MS SSIS / ADF ETLs, Spark & Python along with Strong SQL knowledge and strong DWH and ETL concepts

- Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through continuous delivery to production.

- Liaise with the delivery team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.

- Design & configure Cloud Database & ETL

- Azure /AWS Cloud Data Solution using API first approach.

- Provide leadership and drive data model changes from on Prem RDBMS to cloud platforms

- Deploying DWH features such as data lake, data mart and data hubs.

- Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.

Technical and Professional Expertise :

- Technical experience and knowledge, with in-depth architecture knowledge on data solutions mainly Microsoft Data Services - Cloud DB and ETL Platform (Azure / AWS)

- Should have architecting and hands on experience working with RDBMS (MS SQL Server). ETL SSIS - ADF and Visualization tools Power BI / Tabeau

- Hands on experience on Azure ADF, Databricks..

- Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling)

- Provide resolution to an extensive range of complicated data pipeline related problems, proactively and as issues surface

- Should be able to develop and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data flow and data models of the data warehouse appropriate for various audiences

- Understanding of data security and compliance

- Fluency architecting and documenting architecture at multiple levels (high-level to detailed) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, physical, data flow and sequence diagrams)

- Demonstrated experience translating business and technical requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.

Qualifications :

- Preferably 15+ yrs. in IT and 5+ years' experience working as data architect

- B.E Computer Science or higher

- AWS Solution Architect Certification is Preferred
