Description :About the Role :We are seeking an experienced Network Automation Engineer with deep expertise in automation, scripting, and network infrastructure.The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated solutions to enhance network operations, integrate network services, and optimize infrastructure efficiency.This is a hands-on role that requires strong Python skills, knowledge of DevOps practices, and familiarity with modern networking technologies.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and applications for network configuration, monitoring, and management.- Integrate network devices and services using REST APIs and orchestration frameworks.- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for network infrastructure code and automation workflows.- Collaborate with network and DevOps teams to implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.- Troubleshoot, monitor, and improve network performance and reliability through automation.- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices in all automated workflows.Required Qualifications :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network automation or infrastructure automation.- Expert proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and application development.- Strong experience with REST APIs for network device configuration and orchestration.- Hands-on experience with DevOps/CI/CD pipelines using standard industry tools.- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, Firewalls, and network security principles.Preferred Skills :- Experience in cloud networking automation (AWS, Azure, or GCP).- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.- Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.- Background in regulated industries like Medical Devices or Healthcare.- Strong understanding of Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) architecture and common vendor platforms.- Relevant certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, Python, or DevOps certifications (ref:hirist.tech)
