Job Function, Roles & Responsibilities:Lead technology initiatives for strategizing and owning Industry 4.0 and related business practices, with relevant experience in Industry 4.0 & IIoTOverall responsibility of end-to-end project execution & delivery within planned schedule for multiple projects simultaneouslyProject requirements understanding, dissemination into individual tasks, effort estimation and planningUpholding customer satisfaction through value-based deliveryInterface with global customers for project status accounting, task planning and deliveryDefining and managing daily tasks and responsibilities of the project team, with an ability to lead 10-15 team members spread across multiple projectsStakeholder management from cross-functional teams within organization and external vendors/partnersEscalation management from customers or internal stakeholdersUnderstand business pipeline through sales and senior management, define hiring plans and conduct interviewsManage compliance to Quality Management System (QMS), and participate in project audits by SEPG groupResponsible for conducting annual appraisals, providing regular developmental feedback to team, and identifying skill gaps to plan internal and external trainingFoster an open work-culture to instill confidence in the team, and encourage diversity of perspectives and sharing of knowledgeArea of expertise:Expertise in industrial projects with manufacturing applications, controls, and analytics, with good exposure to PLC, DCS and SCADA systemsExpertise in working with industrial interfaces and protocols such as MODBUS, PROFIBUS, FIELDBUS, OPC UAOverall project management & deliveryRisk management (risk identification, tracking, mitigation and contingency planning)Customer communication (US and Europe based customers)Strategic account management and long-term growthEmbedded firmware architecture development for Industrial IoT (IIoT) domainExpertise in various processor and microcontroller architectureExpertise in bare metal, RTOS and device driver developmentExpertise in Linux Kernel programming, device driver development, multi-threaded applicationsExpertise in different distributions such as Yocto and openWRTExpertise in C and OOPS Programming languages, data structure, and design patterns in C++Expertise in bootloader (U-Boot) development for embedded systemsExperience in wireless technologies such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, BLE, Threads, WiFi, and Sub-GHzExperience with debugging tools such as KGDB, GDB, Valgrind, and static code analyzersExperience in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, HTTP, GSM, GPRSExperience in serial communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, I2C, SPI, MODBUS and CANExperience in Embedded GUI Development, particularly with QT or similar frameworks, is advantageousSkills:Programming Languages: C, C++, and PythonHands-on BSP, board bring up development experienceLinux kernel development with low-level driver experience, BSP, the board bring-up SDK development knowledgeWrite high-quality, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code in a fast-paced Agile environmentInterfaces: PCIE, USB, I2C, SPI, MDIO, MQTT, Rest APIWireless: Z Wave/ZigBee/Matter/Thread/BLE/WIFIHardware schematics review and PCB debuggingMicrocontroller/Microprocessors: 16/32-bit Debugging applications using debugging tools.Debugging Hardware and low-level firmware using schematicsDebugging tools: like logic analyzer, digital oscilloscope, JTAG, KGDB, JDBExpert in USB, AUDIO/VIDEO, RF protocolsCloud communication: AWS or Azure or customer cloudBuild system: Yocto, OpenWRT, Makefiles etcEmbedded GUI Development – QT or similarExpertise in at least one technology - Wi-Fi, audio/video, display, cameraExperienced with SCRUM-based project management tools such as JIRA, DOORS, AgileEmbedded GUI Development – QT or similarWorking experience in security algorithms encryption and decryptionDebugging Hardware and low-level firmware using schematicsDebugging tools: like logic analyzer, digital oscilloscopeComplete SDLC life cycle understandingScrum master certifications in team managementEducational Criteria:BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech – Electronics / Electronics & Communications
