Job description:

Role: Payroll Analyst

Experience required: 2-4 Years of payroll experience with Singapore and Malaysia

Location: Mumbai

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

The payroll specialist position supports payroll activities for NCRs SG/ID/MY/TH/Ind statutory payments with the primary focus of supporting payroll and Finance activities. The role will support the organization by:

• Resolving employee payroll issues using written and oral communication.
• Completion of regulatory and internal payroll tax, labor and wage reporting as assigned.
• Processing the payroll and making sure accurate audit is completed
• Post payroll activities of the payroll
• Accurate and timely reconciliations as assigned.
• Assist department with update of employee pay records, as assigned.
• Participating in year-end activities with the region as assigned.
• Manage internal & external payroll audits
• Manage all country statutory payments on time and accurately

This position will report to the Manager APAC Payroll

Job Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate completions of payroll processing as assigned.
• Effectively managing the resolution of assigned employee cases within defined SLAs.
• Accurately analyzing employee or manager payroll issues and following established procedures/guidelines to resolving appropriately.
• Timely completion of regulatory payroll labor and wage reporting as assigned.
• Timely completion of assigned operational reporting in cadence with payroll processing schedules.
• Responsible for accurate and timely creation of manual ledger account uploads for assigned countries.
• Reconciles payroll ledger accounts as assigned.
• Updating and balancing payroll input as assigned.
• Adheres to established policy and procedures.
• Year-end processes to support accurate and timely administration of payroll responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance
• 3+ Experience in Payroll for any country (relevant county would be added advantage)
• 3+ years of experience in accounting / payroll reconciliation
• Established knowledge of payroll concepts for supported countries
• Excellent grasp of the English language, both verbal and written.
