Job Overview:

Job Summary:

As a Plant Head in the Refrigeration Industry, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations of a refrigeration manufacturing plant. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient production of high-quality refrigeration products while adhering to safety standards, optimizing costs, and meeting production targets. You will lead a team of professionals, including production managers, engineers, and technicians, to achieve operational excellence and contribute to the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operations Management:

Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor manufacturing processes to achieve production targets, quality standards, and cost-efficiency. Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality control measures, and regulatory compliance.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and develop a skilled workforce.

Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to employees.

Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability. Production Planning and Scheduling:

Develop production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.

Coordinate with other departments such as logistics and procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials and components. Cost Management:

Identify opportunities to reduce production costs while maintaining product quality. Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor expenses within budget constraints. Quality Assurance:

Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards. Implement quality improvement programs and corrective actions as needed.

Equipment Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery.

Schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency. Continuous Improvement:

Drive lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular reports on plant performance, including production metrics, quality, and safety. Maintain accurate records of production data and inventory levels.

Environmental and Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure the plant complies with all environmental regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with regulatory agencies as necessary to address compliance requirements. Strategic Planning:

Work with senior management to develop and execute plant-specific strategic plans aligned with company goals. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience in plant management within the refrigeration or HVAC industry.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse workforce.

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
