Academic Head

Key Responsibilities :

·       Academic Strategy & Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of academic programs to be delivered Online for JEE and NEET preparation in sync with the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Establish a clear vision for the academic curriculum and ensure that it aligns with NIOS and NEET / JEE exam requirements.

·       Curriculum Development: Design and plan syllabus to train home schooling students (e –school) of NIOS curriculum and supervise the usage of teaching material for JEE and NEET, ensuring high-quality and up-to-date content. Collaborate with faculty members to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of the teaching methods.

·       Faculty Management & Training: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of experienced faculty. Develop continuous professional development programs for teachers to ensure the highest standards of academic delivery.

·       Setting up Academic Processes: Establish and streamline academic processes, including teaching methodologies, regular student assessments, tracking progress as per the curriculum, and managing continuous feedback in an efficient manner. Ensure that all processes are efficient and results-driven.

·       Performance Monitoring & Results Achievement: Oversee the academic performance of students and set measurable goals for success. Regularly assess the progress of students and implement interventions as needed to ensure consistent improvement and excellent exam results.

·       Innovation in Teaching: Introduce innovative teaching methods, such as online learning tools, interactive sessions, and other technological advancements to enhance the learning experience for students.

·       Parent & Student Engagement: Regularly communicate with students and parents both online and offline to update them on academic progress, provide counseling, and ensure that their concerns are addressed.

·       Quality Assurance: Establish a culture of excellence in teaching and learning. Regularly monitor student satisfaction, faculty performance, and overall academic output to ensure continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in academic leadership roles, preferably in the JEE/NEET/ Board Integrated coaching industry, Good working experience of handing online teaching platforms, Prior experience in setting up processes and driving results in a startup culture is highly desirable.
• Academic Background: Strong academic credentials, preferably with a background in engineering or medicine. Advanced degrees (M.Sc., M.Tech, M.D., or Ph.D.) are a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead a team of educators. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to create and implement long-term academic strategies that lead to measurable success.
• Process-Oriented: Experience in setting up and optimizing academic processes, tracking student progress, and ensuring the highest standards of educational delivery.
• Innovative & Forward-Thinking: Open-minded with the ability to adopt new teaching technologies and methodologies to improve student outcomes.
