This role involves overseeing risk evaluation, pricing, and portfolio management in marine insurance, while guiding a team of underwriters to deliver excellence. You will play a key role in driving business growth, ensuring compliance, and building strong stakeholder relationships across the region.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Marine Underwriting team across Gujarat. Oversee risk assessment, pricing, and portfolio management for marine insurance. Collaborate with sales, distribution, and operations teams to drive business growth. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Mentor and develop team members to achieve excellence.Desired Profile Strong experience inMarine Underwritingwith proven leadership skills. Relevant academic background; candidates with aMarine-related degree/licentiatewill be preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage territory-wide responsibilities and deliver results.Qualifications & Experience: Graduate/Postgraduate in Insurance, Risk Management, or related field. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in marine underwriting Familiarity with underwriting tools, risk inspection processes, and regulatory norms.Skills & Competencies: Analytical mindset with strong decision-making ability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and underwriting software.
