ServiceNow Test Manager – Roles & Responsibilities Experience & Leadership Possess5–7 years of experiencein software testing, with a strong focus on the ServiceNow platform. Proven track record ofleading teams of 4–6 testers , managing performance, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality output. Ability to work independently while also guiding and supporting the team. ServiceNow Platform Expertise Deep understanding ofServiceNow modulessuch as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications. Hands-on experience intest planning, execution, automation, and defect managementwithin the ServiceNow ecosystem. Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Customer Engagement & Communication Act as acustomer-facing lead , managing all communications related to testing activities, timelines, risks, and issue resolution. Prepare and presenttest strategies, status reports, defect summaries , and other documentation to stakeholders. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and expectations. Individual Contribution Be ahands-on test manager , capable of writing and executing test cases, performing defect triage, and contributing to automation efforts. Take ownership of critical testing tasks and support the team during high-pressure phases. Project Delivery & Quality Assurance Overseeend-to-end testing lifecyclefor ServiceNow implementations and upgrades. Ensureproject deliverablesmeet quality standards, timelines, and client requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align testing with overall project objectives. Process Improvement & Governance Define and implementtesting processes, standards, and best practicestailored to ServiceNow projects. Drivecontinuous improvementin testing methodologies, tools, and team capabilities. Ensure compliance with organizational and client-specific quality frameworks.
