SVP, Head of Wealth Management Practice

Job Title : SVP, Head of Wealth Management Practice Location : Hyderabad Role : Develop scalable Wealth Management offerings including Digital Platforms and Services to the global banks, leading asset management companies, investment managers, wealth managers, RIAs etc. Develop and drive go-to-market strategy and implementation in close collaboration with Sales, Operations, Product and IT teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership Define and execute the long-term strategy for the Wealth Management Practice, aligning with the company's mission and fintech innovation roadmap. Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive threats. Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to integrate wealth management solutions into the platform. 2. Practice Development Build and refine scalable wealth management offerings, including advisory services, investment products, and digital tools investment managers, wealth managers clients. Oversee the design of client journeys, onboarding processes, and advisor workflows to enhance user experience. Leverage data analytics and AI to develop predictive insights, automated rebalancing, and personalized financial planning tools. 3. Client & Partner Engagement Drive client acquisition and retention by positioning the platform as a leader in tech-enabled wealth solutions. Cultivate relationships with financial advisors, institutional partners, and third-party providers (e.g., custodians, asset managers). Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and media engagements to elevate brand authority. 4. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all offerings comply with regulatory standards (e.g., SEBI, SEC) and global financial regulations. Implement robust risk management frameworks for investment strategies and client data security. 5. Team Building & Culture Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of wealth managers, product specialists, and analysts. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and client obsession. 6. Performance Metrics Deliver against KPIs such as AUM growth, revenue targets, client satisfaction (NPS), and platform adoption rates. Monitor financial performance, unit economics, and ROI for wealth management initiatives. Qualifications Experience : 20+ years in wealth management, private banking, or fintech, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles. Industry Knowledge : Deep expertise in investment products (ETFs, alternatives, structured products), financial planning, and regulatory compliance. Tech Savvy : Proven track record in leveraging technology (e.g., APIs, cloud platforms, AI/ML) to enhance wealth management services. Certifications : CA, MBA – Finance or similar credentials preferred. Leadership : Strong ability to inspire cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced fintech environment. Communication : Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience scaling wealth management practices in a startup or high growth fintech environment. Familiarity with agile product development and API-driven ecosystems. Global market experience (e.g., North America, Europe, APAC).
