Role Overview :

As the Director of Engineering, you will lead the charge in developing groundbreaking financial products from inception to launch. You will helm a team of talented engineers, fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Your strategic vision will guide the engineering department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with the company's objectives and market needs.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Spearhead the development of innovative fintech products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment.
  • Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, promoting best practices in software development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand the engineering team, identifying talent needs and fostering professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals.
  • Drive technological strategy and innovation, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies that can enhance product offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, decision-making, and the overall success of the company.
Qualifications :
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering complex software products.
  • Extensive experience in building financial technology products from the ground up, demonstrating a deep understanding of the fintech landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Strong technical background in software development, architecture, and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams towards achieving their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
