TCS Hiring Role: Oracle DBA + Oracle Goldengate Exp: 5-10 Years Location: Chennai/Hyd/Kol/AhmedabadJD Requirements: Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field Experience : Experienced Senior Oracle DBA with expertise in Oracle Goldengate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Oracle databases and Goldengate solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity. Key Responsibilities : Database Administration 1. Design, implement, and manage Oracle databases to meet business requirements. 2. Ensure database performance, security, and availability. 3. Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution. 4. Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies.Goldengate Responsibilities 1. Design and implement Oracle Goldengate solutions for data replication, integration, and migration. 2. Configure and manage Goldengate processes, including Extract, Pump, and Replicat. 3. Ensure Goldengate integration with existing Oracle databases and applications. 4. Troubleshoot Goldengate-related issues and provide timely resolutionTools : o Postgres database administration tools (pgAdmin, pg_dump, etc.) o ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, etc.) o Security and access control tools (Kerberos, SSL/TLS, etc.) Certifications : Oracle, PostgreSQL certifications or equivalent experienceNice to Have: 1. Experience with cloud-based Postgres databases (AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, etc.) 2. Knowledge of data encryption and decryption techniques 3. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) for database deployment 4. Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines 5. ETL best practices and performance tuning of queries
