Job Purpose :

The Workday Techno Functional Consultant plays a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining the Workday system to meet the specific needs of Aptia India.

This role combines technical expertise with an understanding of business processes to ensure the effective utilisation of the Workday platform.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirements Analysis :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Workday system enhancements.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and recommend solutions to meet organizational needs.

Configuration and Customisation :

- Configure and customise Workday modules, including HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Financial Management.

- Develop and implement custom reports, calculated fields, and business processes to align with business requirements.

Integration Management :

- Design and implement integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, collaborating with IT and other relevant teams.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Develop and execute test plans to validate Workday configurations and customizations.

- Ensure data accuracy and system functionality through rigorous testing processes.

User Training and Support :

- Provide training to end-users on Workday functionality and processes.

- Act as a point of contact for user support, addressing and resolving system-related issues on time.

- Stay Current with Workday Updates

- Stay abreast of Workday releases and updates, assessing their impact on existing configurations and recommending adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications and Work Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.

- Relevant Workday certifications such as Workday HCM, Workday Integration, or others are preferred.

- 10+ years of overall work experience including a minimum of 5 years of proficiency as a Workday Techno Functional Consultant, with expertise in configuring and customizing Workday modules.

- Strong understanding of HR and finance processes, policies, and best practices.

- Experience in designing and implementing Workday integrations.

- Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and data analysis.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
