Job Objective

  • Achieve incremental revenue in the Consumer Durable Business Line Channel within a 2-year timeframe by building the goods channel sales from scratch.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of channel management, including trade marketing, channel incentives, consumer value propositions, and negotiations with channel partners.
  • Develop and implement the overall strategy for the White-Goods Channel, aligning it with the company's objectives and goals.
  • Drive end-to-end channel development and growth execution through:
  • Granular mapping of the white-goods channel to target high-potential counters in priority markets.
  • Create a tailored proposition for the white-goods channel and test its effectiveness across pilot markets to drive key shifts in input and output metrics.
  • Orient and onboard the right distributors in the white-goods channel to fuel growth.
  • Pursue channel expansion through selected distributors.
  • Provide Leadership and Development:
  • Embark on ground-level work across markets, collaborating with RBATs, trade marketing, and sales teams to drive channel growth and provide leadership.
  • Maintain channel health and margins through continuous improvement, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor sub-dealer growth, new sub-dealer billing, distributor input KPIs, including channel margins and service KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of strategies to drive incremental revenue in the Consumer Durable Business Line Channel.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with channel partners to negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive channel growth and expansion.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure ongoing improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of channel management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
