We’re starting with OSHA compliance (OSHA 300/300A/301 + supporting modules) on AWS.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineer who can start contributing immediately. This role is backend engineering + platform/devops + system design. You’ll work directly on critical modules already in progress and help stabilize and scale our platform.Important: This is not a training role. We need someone who can work independently and deliver with minimal handholding.✅ Please apply only if you have real, professional industry experience.❌ If your experience is primarily college projects / internships / self-learning projects, this role is not a fit.What you’ll work on (immediate priorities)Fix/improve CI/CD + DevOps for deploying OSHA 300 backend to AWS ECSIntegrate OSHA 300 module into main app deployment flowSerious incidents tracking: endpoints/services + fix dependencies for deadlines/dashboards/analytics, extend data modelFix bugs reported during testingAddress known gaps: PDF export, deadlines issues, orphaned/missing incidentsDesign + implement middleware for users/orgs with RBAC (multi-tenant friendly)Implement audit logging for user activityImplement API rate limiting + tighten API access patterns (CORS + auth)Implement OSHA data sources ingestion system (APIs, workers, processing, schema updates)Implement OSHA ITA submission (APIs, workers, processing, schema updates)Make OSHA ITA DB schema portable as part of Terraform-based client initializationMust-have skills5+ years backend/platform engineering experience (real production work)Strong API design + backend development (Python/FastAPI or Node.js)AWS ECS deployment experience (Docker, IAM basics, environment config)CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or equivalent)PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations, indexes, performance basicsSystem design: RBAC, multi-tenant patterns, audit logging, workersStrong debugging skills + ability to ship fixes confidentlyGood-to-haveTerraform (modules, state, environment bootstrapping)Queue/worker patterns (SQS/Celery/etc.)Observability: CloudWatch, structured logging, metricsB2B SaaS / workflow-heavy systemsPDF generation/export pipelinesWork setup & timingRemote within India (stable internet + professional workspace)Prefer 2–3 hours overlap with US Central Time for standups/reviews(typically 7:30–10:30 AM IST during US daylight savings or 8:30–11:30 AM IST standard time)Hiring timelineWe’re looking to hire within 1 week.
