Location: Chennai
Purpose of the Position
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team of the branch.
Key Deliverables
- Responsibilities include Annual branch sales budgeting, Sales target achievement, Management of branch sales operations, Geography/ channel expansion & reach and identifying & realizing opportunities for growth
- Ensure achievement of financial goals and profitability of the branch from all product categories & channels. Bottom Line- PBDIT as per budget.
- Develop and execute branch sales strategies to address challenges based on local geography, competition, economic and seasonal variations. .
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans and set targets accordingly to maximize revenue of the branch.
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities. Drive aggressive expansion and demand generation activities.
- Manage budget and allocate funds along with Branch Accountant
- Directly oversee and involve in sales operations of the branch, handling a few key portfolios by self.
- Collect market intelligence and provide high quality feedback for new product roll out, pricing, customer trends & preferences & local market trends / shifts.
- Build a high performance team by actively initiating and participating in each stage of employee competency & career development. This includes induction, training, monitoring performance, review & feedback, coaching for success, R&R, motivation, planning progression, retention and ensuring hygiene factors of the branch sales & marketing team is optimum.
- Ensure Marketing and In shop look & activities are as per plan and budget.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer & partner relationships. Drive implementation of IFB Customer Service Charter.
- Ensure interdepartmental synergy, leveraging the same for superior customer service and referral sales.
- Initiate/utilize various communication/team platforms such as Town Halls, One IFB, Collabor8 etc. to manage and lead the branch efficiently.
- Implement initiatives & directives from the National / Zonal management and add value by ideation, suggestions & timely feedback.
- Ensure all sales processes are followed, reviewed and corrected consistently.
- Conduct daily reviews of PJP & performance against targets of each category and equip team with enablers such as schemes, manpower & marketing support. Assist team with quick decisions and ensure implementation of points given in the review. Demand performance.
- Timely Reports on branch sales operations, profits, sales results, business forecasts & people indices.
Relevant experience :
-Experience in sales through all channels. Should have handled branch operations commiserate to the sales volumes at the location being considered.
-This profile required P&L handling portfolio .
