Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the girls' hostel, ensuring all facilities and services are running efficiently.
  2. Manage hostel logistics including room allocations, maintenance requests, and supply management.
  3. Implement and enforce hostel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for students living in the hostel, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  5. Prepare and manage budgets for hostel operations and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  6. Ensure that the hostel is well-maintained and that any maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
  7. Liaise with university administration, security, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless hostel operations.
  8. Develop and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  9. Plan and organize events, activities, and programs for hostel residents to enhance community engagement and well-being.


Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

● Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a hostel, dormitory, or similar environment.

● Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

● Proficiency in office software and hostel management systems.

● Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to hostel operations.


Additional Requirements:

● Willingness to reside on-site at the girls' hostel.

● Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if required.
