We are currently seeking a talented senior compliance and risk professional to join our growing team in Chennai.

Senior Manager - Compliance and Risk

Location: Chennai

Experience: 8 to 12 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Champion a "compliance-by-design" approach, integrating compliance considerations into new product development, business processes, and marketing initiatives.

- Maintain strong relationships with SEBI/other regulators, auditors, and other external and internal stakeholders.

- Provide strategic advice to senior management on compliance and risk-related matters, by honing a deep understanding of industry trends and regulatory developments.

- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in compliance and risk management processes. Leverage technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- With a problem-solving mindset, develop and implement a holistic risk management framework to identify, prioritize, and mitigate operational, compliance and reputational risks across all business verticals.

The ideal candidate should possess (in the order of importance):

- A self-starter who takes ownership and drives results.

- A sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- 8 to 12 years of experience in audit, assurance, compliance, risk management, or related roles within the financial services industry.

- A flair for understanding securities regulations and building compliance culture.

- Chartered Accountant or similar professional qualifications.
