Job Overview: We are seeking a Manager in the Homologation department to lead the homologation process for a retrofit emission control device and automotive related products. The candidate will be responsible for driving all the homologation related activity I.e., both technical and non-technical for the system, leading the homologation team, and ensuring the successful completion of the type-approval and CoP projects that meet regulatory compliance requirements.Responsibilities:Develop powerful and enhanced homologation strategies & roadmap for the retrofit emission control device and automotive related productsDeveloping and managing relationships with the Test Agencies and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth execution of the projects.Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring the team is effectively executing homologation strategies and meeting timelines.Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.Develop and manage the homologation budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.Role will involve full ownership of homologation-related projects in the company.Foster a culture of process-driven ideas across the engineering team, encouraging cross-functional teamwork and open communication.Working in ambiguity while ensuring the team remains focused and motivated. Also, majorly play active part in company level strategyManage external homologation partners and provide guidance on homologation requirements.Developing & managing necessary contacts for regular exchange of regulatory information.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.At least 3 yearsof experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 years in a leadership role.Experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and homologation partnersStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
