As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems and infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting issues, developing and maintaining software, managing system administration tasks, and optimizing infrastructure to support our growing airline :- Collaborate with software developers, architects, and operations teams to design and implement reliable and scalable systems.- Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to ensure system reliability meets business requirements.- Respond to and resolve incidents impacting system availability, including diagnosing issues, implementing fixes, and performing post-incident analysis.- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline operational tasks such as deployment, configuration management, and monitoring.- Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems to track system health, performance metrics, and user experience.- Conduct capacity planning to forecast future resource needs and ensure systems can handle current and anticipated demand.- Implement and improve Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.- Design and implement fault-tolerant systems and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.- Identify and optimize system performance bottlenecks to improve efficiency and scalability.- Document system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to system emergencies outside of regular business hours.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive improvements in system reliability and performance.
