As part of a dynamic and entrepreneurial team dedicated to building proprietary trading systems, our new group is focused on solving trading challenges and uncovering opportunities. In the constantly evolving financial markets, our trading systems must quickly adapt to market events, offer a wider range of trading products to our clients, and discover sophisticated alphas to enhance monetization continuously.

This role involves close collaboration with our traders and quantitative analysts to develop and maintain innovative trading solutions.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, support, and maintain trading systems, tools, and infrastructure.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of our trading and research systems to drive growth and alpha generation.
• Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, risk management, and the broader engineering team.
• Stay current with industry developments, trends, and the latest trading architecture and development techniques.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal processes.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in financial, fintech, and/or quantitative development.
• Expertise in low-latency coding (primarily in Java, with other low-level languages such as C++ and C#).
• Proficiency in writing low-latency software in Java.
• Experience with Chronicle software is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience working with tick databases (kdb+ and q are highly preferred).
• Experience in entrepreneurial, high-pressure environments.
• A solid understanding of financial markets, quantitative methods, and systematic trading.
• Intelligent and pragmatic with strong engineering instincts and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Ability to write well-architected, simple code and continually improve the codebase.
• Advanced investigative and data analysis skills.
