Location : Gurgaon (work from office).

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications :

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject with at least 6 to 10yrs of Product testing experience.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Java).

- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

- Strong expertise in automation and manual testing of APIs, UI, database, and data pipelines.

- Must have prior automation experience for Rest based web services using Java (testng, maven, httpclient, Rest Assured, JAXB, JAXRS, Jersey, Jackson, Jmeter).

- Hands-on automation experience required in Selenium & Appium for UI.

- Must have prior experience in creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non -Functional, Analytics, and automation) and test plans for short term and long-term projects both.

- Must have strong hands-on experience on functional and non-functional automation both for Web, Rest services.

- Strong expertise in setting automation frameworks.

- Knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, CI/CD pipeline is a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Building up and leading the Automation Testing Team to the success of project.

- Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery.

- Creating automation frameworks and guide the team to take the automation to next level.

- Design, create and maintain all automated tests of varying types: Functional, API and Mobile.

- Good to have: Performance testing of backend services using tools like JMeter.

- Understanding software development requirements and identify the required testing skills for the same.

- Allocation of resources based on the testing skills and keep a track on the progress of the project.

Maintenance of all documents like :

- Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Results.

- Mentoring and nurturing junior talent to build a strong delivery-oriented team of individuals.

- Implementing the best practices pertaining to test automation methodologies.

- Driving continuous improvement and innovation into engineering deliveries.

- Participate and demonstrate expertise in Automation strategy along with contribution in framework development.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to Design, Plan test schedules, strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
