We are seeking highly experienced individuals to join our team in the Legal role, focusing on supply chain financing experience from Banks or NBFCs/Fintech's based in Mumbai.
Main Responsibilities:- Documentation: Draft, negotiate, and finalize financing documents and agreements as per internal teams' requirements, managing contractual risk. Facilitate execution of financing documents with extensive experience in Supply Chain Finance, Lending, NBFC, and Working Capital.
- Legal Research & Updates: Monitor case laws, statutory, and regulatory updates impacting the organization's business, disseminate information within the organization, provide timely legal support for transactions, and strategic advice on new legislation affecting the business.
- Best Practices: Assist in developing best practices to minimize unforeseen legal exposure, standardize financing documents for faster turnaround time, and have a 360-degree view of legal aspects, including documentation and recovery processes.
- Timelines: Maintain adequacy and timelines in all assigned legal matters, ensure timely closure of documentation, and maintain TAT sheets and logs.
- Hands-on experience in Supply Chain Finance.
- Well-versed in NBFC Guidelines and Corporate Laws.
- Closely working experience with Business/Credit Teams for optimal legal process at customer acquisition and recovery stages.
- Fair understanding of Balance Sheet & P/L.
- In-depth knowledge of latest developments in Corporate Law space.
- Registered with the Bar Council of India.
- Good CLAT Ranking.
- Completed internships with reputed law firms/corporates.
- Moot Court Participation.
- Open to travel.
- Law graduate from a reputed law college/university in India.
- Completed 5-year undergraduate law program.
