About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic SAP Test Manager to join our team in Pune. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all testing activities for our SAP S/4HANA implementations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our SAP solutions. This is a direct and permanent payroll position within our established German Product Based MNC, offering excellent growth opportunities and a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test concepts, and test plans for SAP S/4HANA implementations.

- Define test scopes, test levels (FUT, SIT, UAT, Hypercare, Performance Test, Vulnerability Test), and testing methodologies.

- Create detailed test schedules and resource plans.

- Design and develop test suites, test cases, and test scripts based on user stories, use cases, and requirements.

- Manage and coordinate the execution of all test phases, including functional, integration, system, performance, and security testing.

- Ensure all testing processes and results meet quality standards.

- Implement and manage the defect management process, including defect tracking, reporting, and resolution.

- Analyze and prioritize defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Generate and distribute defect reports and metrics.

- Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities.

- Coordinate and manage multiple test phases with various stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and end-

users.

- Provide regular status updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders.

- Identify and assess potential risks related to testing activities.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to minimize impact.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum and SAFe environment, analyzing user stories and requirements for validity and feasibility.

- Ensure alignment with Agile and SAFe principles throughout the testing process.

- Utilize test management tools such as Solution Manager, Jira, HPQC, MicroFocus LoadRunner, Tosca, and Selenium.

- Use Confluence for documentation and Excel formulas/macros for reporting.

- Generate and analyze test reports and metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

- Ensure that all testing processes and results meet quality standards.

- Implement and maintain quality assurance best practices.

- Manage and coordinate hypercare activities to ensure smooth transition to production.

- Test Manager/Architect (SAP S/4HANA)

- Test management tools like Solution Manager, Jira, HPQC, MicroFocus LoadRunner, Tosca / Selenium.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- ISTQB Certification.

- Strong in designing test management and strategies.

- Good in Excel formulas/macros to adjust execution/defect reports.

- SAFe agile.

Required Skills :

- 8-10 years of experience in SAP testing and test management.

- Extensive experience in managing end-to-end delivery in testing for SAP Releases, INT Tests, UAT Test, and Hypercare.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.

- Excellent skills in defect management and overall test monitoring and reporting.

- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
