TheSenior Integration Engineer Role

The Workflow Automation development team is looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join our Qlik Automate product development team. This role will specifically focus on connectivity development to internal and external applications which plays a crucial part in our goal to seamlessly orchestrate our customers business processes end-to-end. We currently have a suite of 80+ internal and external connectors and want to continuously grow this.

You’ll have an opportunity to become a Qlik product expert while learning more about our customers’ business application eco-system.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

Become an expert on Qlik Automate and other Qlik Sense products with a specific focus onconnectivity. Maintain and improve our 80+ internal and external API connectors and help us grow our connector suite for enterprise customer use cases. Become an expert in Qlik’s APIs for products such as Qlik Sense, Qlik AutoMl, Qlik Talend Data Integration, Qlik Answers … Research external platforms (e.g. CRM systems like Salesforce, AI/ML platforms,…) and API documentation to design and implement the best connectivity approach. Perform manual and automated testing and write documentation for our connectors. Coordinate closely with our stakeholders in product management and related development teams about delivery timelines and risks.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

7+ years of relevant technical experience. Strong experience in Web APIs: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, oAuth, paging. Experience in data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet, etc. Strong knowledge of Postman, SOAP UI,… Knowledge of common network protocols: HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, etc. Experience with iPaaS platforms, database connectivity, ETL is a plus. Coding/scripting background, preferably in PHP (or willingness to learn PHP). Knowledge of Github Actions, ArgoCD is a big plus Strong communication skills Proven experience building strong relationships with stakeholders Knowledge of Qlik products (Qlik Sense, Qlik Talend Data Integration, ...) is a plus.
