Inviting applications for the role of LEAN Digital Blackbelt, Engineering Process Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Process Optimization Blackbelt to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence, and implementing best practices across engineering processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process optimization, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, project management, and experience in Aviation or Healthcare industries.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyze current engineering processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute process optimization strategies.
• Train and mentor team members on Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Drive Kaizen workshops, Design thinking workshops, and digital transformation projects.
• Monitor and report on the progress of process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
• Experience in the manufacturing or technology industry.
• Partner with Operations Leaders to drive Lean Agenda for the organization

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Rich and relevant experience in Lean Domain especially for manufacturing vertical with some experience around industrial/ production processes
• Demonstrated expertise in client relations, multiple & complex stakeholder management
• Strong Consulting, relationship management and facilitation skills including the ability to listen and ask the right questions to understand the business problem, analyze and provide meaningful insights.
• Problem solving skills with analytical bent of mind
• Ability to multitask with aggressive deadlines
• Proficiency with spoken and written English
• Influencing, Persuasion and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt.
• Experience in process optimization and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data analysis tools and software.
• Good to have skills around understanding client's digital appetite and have AI/ digital bent of mind to provide relevant recommendations to the stakeholders efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Master's degree in engineering or business administration.
• Knowledge of advanced data analytics and automation technologies
• Rich relevant experience with increasing accountability
• Hands on knowledge and certification in various improvement framework (LEAN)
• Expert level knowledge of various data collection and analysis tools
• Experience managing complex process improvement projects, including undertaking operational assessments and operating model design using Lean.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative approach with attention to details, ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks
• BE Mechanical or Production engineering background (preferrable)
