Position Description

The Resourcing Manager will oversee resource management initiatives and activities focused solely on personnel within the Morae’s business units. Reporting to the Business Excellence Leader, this role will be responsible for standardizing and optimizing processes and controls related to resource management. The Resourcing Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements aimed at enhancing process efficiency, resource utilization, and delivery quality.


Primary Responsibilities

  1. Oversee resource management initiatives and activities to standardize and optimize processes and controls within the business units.
  2. Identify and implement process improvements for increased process efficiency and delivery quality, specifically related to personnel resource allocation, training, and hiring.
  3. Collaborate with Morae business unit and HR representatives to provide inputs to drive training and hiring plans.
  4. Collaborate with the value and technology enablement leads for resource management automation and optimization.
  5. Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate adoption of new resource management processes, technologies, and organizational structures within the business units.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement specifically related to resource management within the business units.
  7. Work with project teams to establish and track metrics associated with initiative objectives and business as usual (BAU) activities related to resource management.
  8. Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure resource management efficiency and effectiveness within the business units.
  9. Work with project teams and business leaders to support vendor management and reporting related to personnel resource allocation within the business units.
  10. Drive stabilization for new transitions within the business units through metric identification, measurement system setup & reporting setup, continuous improvement (CI) roadmap design, and risk assessment specifically related to resource management.


Key Activities

Resource Allocation and Optimization:

  • Oversee initiatives to standardize and optimize personnel resource allocation processes across all of the business units.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance resource utilization and delivery quality specifically related to personnel allocation.

Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies for the adoption of new resource management processes, technologies, and structures across all business units.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement throughout the change process specifically related to resource management.

Metrics Tracking and Analysis:

  • Establish and track metrics associated with initiative objectives and BAU activities specifically related to resource management.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure resource management efficiency and effectiveness within the business units.

Transition Stabilization:

  • Drive stabilization for new transitions within the business units through metric identification, measurement system setup & reporting setup, CI roadmap design, and risk assessment specifically related to resource management.

Proficiency and Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience with 5+ in resource management in a professional services field.

  • Strong background in process improvement and change management specifically related to resource management.
  • Experience with metrics tracking, analysis, and reporting specifically related to resource management within business units.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to effectively work with the most junior and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization specifically related to resource management.
  • Adept with PM tools, workflow management, and tracking end-to-end engagement level metrics.
