Full Stack Developer

Job Summary :

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internally developed web-based tools and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding and technology along with a strong commitment to quality and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Web Application Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy automated tools that assist the IT department with day-to-day operations of our platform and web sites.

2. Code Quality and Best Practices :

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Follow best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.

3. Collaboration and Code Review :

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.

4. Testing and Debugging :

- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.

- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.

5. Database Design and Management :

- Design and manage well-functioning databases.

- Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.

6. API Integration and Development:

- Develop and consume APIs (REST, GraphQL).

- Integrate front-end and back-end aspects of IT applications.

7. Documentation:

- Document codebase and keep technical documentation up to date.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the applications are current.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.

- Proficient in a variety of programming languages such as JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular, Vue), Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP.

- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development process.
