Job Opening: Senior Field Service Engineer (FSE) – Bio-Analytical tools like DLS, UV-VIS, Fluorescence, MALS & Microfluidics Instruments (Sales Support)Location:Ahmedabad Job Type:Full-time Experience:Mid/Senior About the RoleWe are seeking a skilledField Service Engineerto provide technical support foranalytical and bio-analytical instrumentswhile actively supporting the sales team. The role involvesinstallation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and pre-sales/application supportfor advanced laboratory instruments, including Bio-Analytical tools like DLS, UV-VIS, Fluorescence, MALS, and Microfluidic systems. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and maintain: Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) systems UV-VIS spectrophotometers Fluorescence spectrometers Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS) instruments Microfluidic analysis systems Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and routine service visits. Troubleshoot hardware, optics, electronics, and software issues. Providepre-sales and application support : Conduct demos for potential customers Assist in product selection and technical presentations Prepare application notes, feasibility studies, and quotations Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and provide technical input. Maintain detailed service reports, compliance documentation, and customer records. Stay updated on new technologies, software, and best practices. QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree inPhysics, Instrumentation, Electronics, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field . 3–10+ years of hands-on experience with lab instruments, preferably in: Bio-Analytical tools like DLS, MALS, UV-VIS, Fluorescence Microfluidics or particle/molecular characterization systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites. Preferred SkillsExperience with instruments fromMalvern Panalytical, Wyatt Technology, Agilent, Horiba, PerkinElmer, Shimadzu , etc. Knowledge of GMP/GLP, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and service documentation. Familiarity with software tools:Zetasizer, Astra, UV-Vis analytical suites , etc. Ability to supportsales initiatives , demos, and technical discussions with clients.
