As our Software Development Engineer II - Golang, you will be an integral part of our growing engineering team, taking ownership of core modules. Success in this role requires strong communication, interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills, enabling you to actively participate in the collaborative and cooperative development process that delivers high-quality software.
Responsibilities :
Software Development :
- Analyze requirements to create performant, scalable, and fault-tolerant software.
- As an individual contributor, write and test code to ensure compatibility and stability, refining and rewriting the code as necessary.
Technical Leadership :
- Take responsibility for large technical deliverables and execute them in an exemplary manner.
- Mentor and guide team members on structured problem-solving and development best :
- Work closely with engineering managers, UX designers, and other developers to expand existing software to meet the changing needs of the business.
Requirements :
- BE/B. Tech. in Computer Science or an MCA from a reputed university.
- 2.5+ years of experience in software development, with an emphasis on Go Lang server-side programming.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Golang.
- Experience working with message queue Skills :
- Experience in gRPC, GraphQL, and protocol buffers is desirable.
- Good knowledge of container technologies and developing microservices in a distributed -architecture.
- Familiarity with NoSQL, preferably Mongo.
- Added advantage if you have good knowledge of distributed systems, distributed caching, messaging frameworks, and stream/event processing (Spark Streaming/Apache Flink/Beam).
- Knowledge of Linux, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra is desirable.
- Experience in building data-intensive applications scaling to millions of transactions per day and services with millisecond latencies.
