Description : We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Lead Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience managing and supporting large-scale enterprise network environments, with hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining global network infrastructures. This role demands deep technical knowledge across LAN, WAN, Data Center, VPN, and network security technologies, with proficiency in tools and platforms like Meraki, Arista, Aruba, and Cisco.Key Responsibilities : - Lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-wide network infrastructure, including Data Center, LAN/WAN, and VPN services.- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Network Services including WAN, LAN, DC, and Client Connectivity.- Support and maintain large-scale Global WAN infrastructures with over 100 sites using technologies such as MPLS, ATT ANIRA, ATT AVPN, IP-Sec VPN, and IZO.- Manage enterprise-class Data Center environments, particularly in Spine-Leaf network architectures.- Ensure high availability and reliability of network systems across multiple locations and data centers.- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support production systems and resolve complex technical issues.- Provide strategic input on network capacity planning, security improvements, and performance enhancements.- Maintain documentation for network systems, standards, and procedures.- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in enterprise networking and proactively recommend improvements.Required Skills and Experience : - 10+ years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on large enterprise environments.Strong hands-on experience with : - Meraki (Mandatory) - Arista (Mandatory) - HPE Aruba Wireless Infrastructure (Mandatory) - Cisco switching and routing- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN environments.- Proven experience in implementing and supporting global WAN infrastructures with multiple connectivity technologies.- In-depth knowledge of networking and network security technologies.- Experience with enterprise Data Center networking, particularly Spine-Leaf topologies.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Aruba Certified, or equivalent are a plus.- Experience working in global enterprise environments with a distributed team model.
