Role: Senior Automation TestingExperience: 03-06+ YearsLocation: ChennaiJob descriptionAbout the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation strategy, script development, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Build and enhance automation frameworks using TestNG / JUnit / Maven / Gradle. - Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test coverage. - Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and provide detailed defect reports. - Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins / GitLab / GitHub Actions. - Perform regression testing and support continuous testing efforts. - Identify areas for automation improvements and help enhance testing efficiency. - Work with APIs and perform API test automation using tools like RestAssured / Postman (optional).Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver and Java. - Good understanding of OOP concepts and Java debugging skills. - Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git. - Solid understanding of automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid, Data-driven, BDD). - Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Knowledge of defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.). - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Feel free to share your resume to mohanaprasath.ponnusamy@kumaran.com
