Job Title : Senior Data ModelerWe're looking for an experienced Senior Data Modeler to design and maintain our conceptual, logical, and physical data models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dimensional modeling and data warehouse design, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our data architecture is robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals, especially within the financial services sector.Key Responsibilities :- Data Model Design : Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models with a strong focus on dimensional modeling for our data warehouse.- Data Governance : Ensure the integrity and quality of data by implementing and upholding data governance and metadata management standards.- Cloud Integration : Use your hands-on experience with AWS services to support the data architecture and ensure seamless integration with our cloud environment.- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.Technical Skills :- Data Modeling : Expertise in dimensional modeling, data warehouse design, and all stages of data model development (conceptual, logical, and physical).- Databases & Tools : Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases and experience with data modeling tools like ER/Studio or ERwin.- Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, and Lake Formation.- Data Concepts : Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.- Data Architecture : Knowledge of data lake architecture and modern data stack tools is a plus.Education & Experience : - Experience : A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in data modeling and architecture.- Education : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. AWS or other data modeling certifications are a plus.Work Model : Onsite (5-Day WFO)Notice Period : Immediate- 15 days (ref:hirist.tech)
