Role Description.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr.

SAP Basis Consultant.

The Sr SAP Basis Consultant will be responsible for SAP Basis administration, troubleshooting, consulting, and database administration.

They will collaborate with teams to ensure smooth functioning of SAP systems, optimize performance, and provide technical support.

This role requires expertise in SAP Basis and a strong understanding of database Expertise in SAP Basis and Basis Administration.

- Consulting experience in SAP systems.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Relevant certifications in SAP Basis.

Key Responsibilities :


SAP Basis Administration :


- Manage and maintain the SAP environment by performing system monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization.


- Conduct regular system health checks and proactively resolve potential issues.


Database Administration :


- Perform database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, upgrading, and patching of database systems.


- Ensure the integrity and availability of SAP databases through routine maintenance and backups.


Troubleshooting and Problem Solving :


- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex technical issues related to SAP Basis and database systems.


- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve issues and implement preventive measures.


Consulting and Support :


- Offer expert advice and consulting services to clients on SAP systems.


- Assist in the planning and execution of SAP projects, including migrations, upgrades, and implementations.


- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.


What We're Looking For :


Expertise in SAP Basis :


- Strong expertise in SAP Basis and Basis Administration, including system installations, configurations, and upgrades.


Database Administration: Significant experience in database administration within an SAP environment. Proficiency in managing databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or HANA.


Technical Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on SAP and database systems. Ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.


Consulting Experience: Previous consulting experience with SAP systems, including working directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions.


Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different functions.


Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- 6 - 8 years of experience in SAP Basis and Basis Administration.


Proven experience in database administration and management.


- Strong consulting experience with SAP systems.


- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
