Profile : International Accounting (US).

Key Responsibilities:

- Form 990 Preparation: Lead the accurate and timely preparation of Form 990 and related forms for various nonprofit organizations, ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state tax laws.

- Tax Compliance: Assist in the review and preparation of various tax returns, including Forms 990, 990-T, and other related filings, while identifying and addressing potential tax issues for clients.

- Tax Planning: Provide strategic tax planning advice to nonprofit clients, analyzing the tax implications of organizational changes and initiatives to optimize their tax positions.

- Client Advisory: Serve as the primary contact for nonprofit clients, responding to tax-related inquiries and offering guidance to ensure understanding and implementation of tax-efficient strategies.

- Documentation: Prepare and review tax workpapers, calculations, and documentation to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations.

- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with tax professionals and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive tax services, providing guidance and support to junior team members.

- Continuous Professional Development: Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards that impact nonprofit organizations, and facilitate training and development opportunities for team members.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in U. taxation, with specific expertise in nonprofit tax matters.

- Proficient understanding of Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and 990-N, as well as state and local tax implications for these forms.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an ability to identify and rectify missing or incomplete information in prior tax returns and financial documents.

- Commitment to keeping abreast of current tax practices and legislation affecting tax-exempt entities.
