About the Role :

We are seeking a Fullstack IoT Developer with proven expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications that integrate IoT systems. This role demands strong hands-on skills in .NET Core (backend), React/React Native (frontend & mobile), and modern IoT platforms.

The ideal candidate should have end-to-end experience in designing cloud-native IoT applications, from device data ingestion and real-time communication protocols to frontend visualization and mobile integration. You will be working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with exposure to emerging technologies like GenAI in IoT ecosystems.

This role is a unique opportunity to work on enterprise-scale IoT solutions within Walmarts technology ecosystem, contributing to innovation and scalability in connected systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Fullstack Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications with .NET Core (C#, ASP.NET Core) for backend services and React/React Native for frontend/mobile applications.

- Build intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using TypeScript and modern React frameworks.

- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support IoT-enabled applications.

IoT Integration & Development :

- Integrate IoT devices and data streams into enterprise applications.

- Implement IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, and WebSockets for real-time data exchange.

- Work with IoT platforms like Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, or Google Cloud IoT for device management, telemetry, and analytics.

- Enable secure device onboarding, provisioning, and lifecycle management.

- Support real-time data ingestion, processing, and visualization for IoT-driven applications.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Deploy IoT applications and services on Azure or GCP using cloud-native practices.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.

- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.

- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security in production environments.

Data & Architecture :

- Design scalable microservices-based architectures for IoT systems.

- Work with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, CosmosDB, DynamoDB) databases.

- Optimize database queries, storage strategies, and real-time analytics for IoT telemetry.

Collaboration & Best Practices :

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and IoT hardware engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and follow testing best practices.

- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute actively in sprint ceremonies.

- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge on emerging IoT and full-stack technologies.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.

- Frontend : Strong in React.js, React Native, and TypeScript.

- Backend : Expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and RESTful API development.

IoT :

- Familiarity with MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket protocols.

- Experience with Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or Google Cloud IoT platforms.

- Understanding of device management, provisioning, and real-time data flows.

- Cloud : Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP cloud services.

- Data : Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases.

- Architecture : Experience designing and implementing microservices-based solutions.

- Containerization : Practical knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes.

- Development Practices : Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, DevOps culture.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with serverless IoT solutions (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions).

- Familiarity with real-time streaming platforms (Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Google Pub/Sub).

- Knowledge of Gen AI applications in IoT such as predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and conversational interfaces.

- Exposure to edge computing and IoT gateway solutions.

- Knowledge of security practices in IoT ecosystems (data encryption, identity, and access management).
