Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Automation Engineer to join our expanding team in Infopark, Kochi. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading New Zealand-based IT company in a hybrid work environment. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing automation solutions to streamline our development and deployment processes. Your expertise in .NET with C#, JavaScript, and automation tools like Selenium and Cypress will be crucial in driving our technical improvements and ensuring the seamless operation of our software systems.

Responsibilities :

Automation Strategy and Implementation :

- Identify key opportunities to reduce manual processes through strategic automation initiatives.

- Design and implement robust and scalable automation frameworks.

- Develop and maintain automated test suites for web and desktop applications.

Build and Release Pipeline Design :

- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.

- Optimize release processes for efficiency and reliability.

Automation Systems Discovery and Prototyping :

- Research and evaluate new automation tools and technologies.

- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the feasibility of automation solutions.

Technical Improvement Work :

- Drive technical improvements across the software development lifecycle through automation.

- Identify and implement best practices for automation and testing.

Software Deployments and Operations :

- Automate software deployments to various environments.

- Provide operational support for automated systems.

- Maintenance of Software and Automation Systems :

- Ensure the stability and reliability of automation systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues.

Code Reviews/Pull Request Approvals :

- Conduct thorough code reviews and approve pull requests to maintain code quality.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior automation engineers.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of proven experience as an Automation Engineer.

- Strong proficiency in .NET with C#.

- Solid understanding of JavaScript.

- Extensive experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress.

- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with1 code review processes.
