The position demands an experienced professional who can: ·Lead large-scale admissions operations ·Create robust lead-generation and conversion strategies ·Drive student recruitment in a highly competitive environment ·Build high-performing counselling teams ·Strengthen digital and offline outreach ·Align admissions with institutional goals, academic departments, and market needs Success in this role requires a mix ofstrategic direction, operational excellence, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making .Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning & Admissions Leadership·Design, execute, and monitor theUniversity-wide admissions strategyfor UG and PG programmes. ·Develop annual enrolment goals, budgets, conversion targets, and action plans. ·Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend evaluation to refine recruitment strategies. ·Build admissions forecasting models and oversee enrolment dashboards. ·Develop brand-aligned messaging for admissions campaigns. 2. Student Recruitment & Outreach Management·Plan and executenational-level outreachincluding: oSchool visits oCounsellor meets oEducation fairs oCity-level campaigns oStudent counselling workshops ·Establish strong relationships with: oSchool principals oCareer counsellors oCoaching centres oCommunity organisations ·Collaborate with HR/PR teams for visibility-based outreach activities. 3. Digital Admissions & Performance Marketing Coordination·Work closely with theBranding & Digital Marketing teamsto strengthen digital lead generation. ·Oversee performance campaigns acrossGoogle Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube, OTT, and education portals . ·Ensure alignment between digital messaging, landing pages, lead flow, and counsellor engagement. ·Track data across CRM systems, lead funnels, and admissions analytics. 4. Counselling Operations & Team Leadership·Lead, train, and mentor a team ofcounsellors, telecallers, field executives, and conversion specialists . ·Set up structured SOPs for student interactions, follow-ups, campus visits, interviews, and closures. ·Design scripts, training modules, and quality check processes for consistent communication. ·Implement performance-based KPIs and incentive frameworks for the counselling team. 5. Enrolment Management & Process Optimization·Oversee complete admissions workflow — from inquiry to enrolment. ·Reduce TAT across stages: inquiry response, callbacks, counselling sessions, document processing, and fee submission. ·Implement technology-enabled processes (CRM, ERP, telephony systems, dashboards). ·Conduct weekly and monthly review meetings, tracking conversion metrics at each stage of the funnel. 6. Collaboration with Academic & Administrative Departments·Work closely with: oDeans & Heads of Departments oRegistrar’s Office oMarketing & Branding teams oExaminations and Finance teams ·Ensure accurate programme information is communicated across departments and channels. ·Coordinate Open Houses, academic webinars, pre-admission orientations, and campus tours. 7. Compliance, Policy & Governance·Ensure admissions processes comply with: oUniversity regulations oGovernment norms oUGC/AICTE/NMC/PCI/INC/BCI/NCTE guidelines (programme-specific) ·Maintain transparency, documentation, reporting, and ethical practices at all times. ·Manage grievance redressal, dispute resolution, and policy documentation. 8. Parent & Student Experience·Ensure a welcoming, transparent, and student-friendly admissions journey. ·Improve campus visit experience through structured tours, interaction sessions, and real-time support. ·Develop communication touchpoints for parents: WhatsApp broadcasts, follow-up emails, SMS notifications. 9.
