Our teams working out of the US and India ensure that clients receive the best financial, tax, and accounting support.

We have two flagship brands:

(a) MyTaxFiler , which provides US Income Tax Returns services, and (b)myStartUpCFO , which provides Bookkeeping and Accounting services.

Job Locations: Bengaluru, KA or Udupi, KA

Shift Timings:

  • (January to April 15th) and (September to October 15th): 9.30 pm to 6.30 am (US Shift)
  • Off-season: 2.00 pm to 11.00 pm

Manager - Individual Tax role will include:

  • Reviewing US Individual & Business tax returns Form 1040, 1040NR, including state income tax filings.
  • Solely handle mid-complex to complex returns.
  • Ability to find out the most optimal tax for clients.
  • Knowledge of International information reporting (FBAR, FATCA, Form 8621, 3520, 3520A, 5471, 8865, etc)
  • Understand client filing requirements depending on their tax scenario and help clients with 100% compliance as per rules.
  • Solid understanding of US tax implications for Individual tax filing.
  • Researching, analyzing, and interpreting changing tax rules.
  • Explaining different tax laws to clients and helping them understand legal obligations and adapt to changes in tax legislation.
  • Representing Clients in front of the IRS for tax matters with proper POA.
  • Involvement with consultancy and research projects.
  • Regular contribution to in-house training meetings/management group meetings on technical topics
  • Supervising Tax Assistants, in conjunction with managers, and contributing towards their career development.
  • Added advantage for people working in Drake / Lacerate tax software.

Delivery Management:

  • Responsible for extensive client leads and managing same end to end (data gathering, validation, client clarifications, review, delivery of returns and billing).
  • Management of each client's tax compliance with setting up right expectation for work scope to be performed and delivery timeline.
  • Recognition of complex client issues and effective communication of those to Manager / Director and client at appropriate time.
  • Taking responsibility for all compliance processes and monitoring various filing requirements.
  • Making sure that there is no client escalation and that processes set within team are followed strictly within tax return cycle.
  • Active involvement in building client relationships.
  • Full involvement in billing process & client follow ups.
  • Go overboard in finishing tasks within deadlines and making sure that entire team is driven to perform within deadlines
