Overview :

- LTIMindtree Limited is an Indian multinational information technology services and consulting company.

- As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance activities, developing test plans, and implementing testing strategies to ensure the highest standards of product quality.

- You will work closely with development, operations, and product management teams to identify and address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Quality Assurance Leadership :

- Lead quality assurance efforts throughout the product development lifecycle.

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and methodologies.

- Mentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices and testing strategies.

Test Planning and Execution :

- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Automate testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks.

Defect Management:

- Identify, document, and track defects and issues through resolution.

- Work with development teams to prioritize and address defects in a timely manner.

- Ensure root cause analysis is performed for critical defects and issues.

Process Improvement :

- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Implement best practices for quality assurance and testing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process gaps.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

- Generate and present quality metrics and reports to stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

- Communicate quality issues and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

- Participate in design and code reviews to provide quality-related feedback.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 6 to 10 years of experience in quality engineering or software testing.

- Strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies.

- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e. g. , Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e. g. , JIRA, TestRail).

- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in performance testing and tools (e. g. , JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Certification in quality assurance or testing (e. g. , ISTQB, CSTE).
