Elanco - Principal Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Role Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics and AI initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in machine learning, statistics, and MMX methodologies with proficiency in Python/R. You will drive innovation, mentor teams, and deliver impactful business insights through data-driven Responsibilities :- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects from ideation to deployment.- Design and implement machine learning, AI, and statistical models to solve business problems.- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to define use cases and success criteria.- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering.- Develop and validate predictive models using Python or R.- Implement MMX methodologies for marketing and business optimization.- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts.- Communicate complex findings to senior stakeholders through visualizations and Skills & Qualifications :- Proven expertise in data science, ML algorithms, and statistical modeling.- Proficiency in Python and/or R, with experience in libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow.- Strong understanding of MMX methodologies and their business applications.- Experience in big data platforms and handling large-scale datasets.- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Skills :- Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker, GCP AI Platform).- Experience in deep learning, NLP, or computer vision.- Publication track record or conference participation in AI/ML (ref:hirist.tech)
