Role Overview:

As the Senior Manager of Finance, you will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the organization. You will oversee financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting activities to ensure alignment with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include optimizing financial performance, managing risks, and providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership. You will lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management and Compliance:

- Maintain financial records in compliance with applicable laws.

- Ensure timely monthly closure of books, revenue recognition, billing, vendor payments, and payroll processing.

- Drive audits (Statutory, Internal, Transfer Pricing, Tax) and develop accounting policies and internal controls.

2. Reporting and Budgeting:

- Analyze monthly financial performance and report to management.

- Develop annual budgets and manage expenses within agreed budgets.

- Monitor business performance against plans and targets, taking timely actions to address issues.

3. Risk Management and Investor Relations:

- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations (GST, payroll, tax, secretarial, RBI).

- Handle investor reporting and due diligence, liaising with bankers for funding requirements.

- Advise on strategic decisions, identify risks, and implement risk management policies.

Key Attributes of a Successful Applicant:

- Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong people management skills.

- Effective communication skills.

- Experience working with startups.

- Fintech experience is desirable.
