About the Role

As a Backend Intern, you'll work on building and improving APIs, database systems, and backend services using Python and Django. You'll collaborate with a fast-paced tech team and contribute to real product features while learning how to build scalable systems.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the backend team to build, test, and maintain APIs using Python and Django
  • Optimize backend logic and database queries for performance and scalability
  • Work closely with product and frontend teams to integrate features end-to-end
  • Debug issues, write clean code, and maintain technical documentation
  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and product discussions

Requirements

  • Are available for an in-office internship for 3-6 months
  • Prior internship experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming
  • Hands-on experience with Django or Django REST Framework
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with Git and version control tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

The FRND team operates six days a week, with every 1st and 3rd Saturday working
