You will be working as Manufacturing Unit Manager and will be part of Motion for IEC LV Motors division in Faridabad, India. In this role you will be reporting to Production Unit Manager. You will be responsible for Managing all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality & Operational Excellence and Logistics.


Your role and responsibilities:-


  • Implementing the global business unit or product group manufacturing strategy in the country within the area of responsibility.
  • Providing input to global business unit or product group strategy.
  • Developing proactive strategies to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensuring achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focusing on achievement of operating cash flow, project on-time and on-cost, requested on-time delivery (ROTD) and cost reduction Leading and managing manufacturing function and operation teams and processes.
  • Implementing localization plan, Improving manufacturing technology and competence in line with business unit or product group strategy.
  • Driving quality improvement through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking to continuously improve processes.
  • Executing quality management for monitoring and validating day to day control of processes. Ensuring manufacturing operations are in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Driving continued improvements in productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization.


Qualifications for the role:-


  • BE/B tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 20 to 25 years’ experience in Manufacturing of Rotatory Machines.
  • Hands on experience on Management portfolio.
