Key Responsibilities :

- Brainstorm, architect, design, and develop innovative backend functionalities in a microservices-based environment.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Core Java, with proper unit testing and documentation.

- Build and optimize JSON-based APIs and integrate with distributed systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka).

- Work with MongoDB and geo-distributed databases, ensuring scalability and high availability.

- Collaborate with the team to define development processes, release management, and production support.

- Lead technical discussions (whiteboarding, brainstorming sessions) and contribute to architectural decisions.

- Take ownership, responsibility, and accountability of deliverables from design to deployment.

- Support production issues, troubleshoot, and ensure system stability.

Must-Have Technical Skills :

- Java (Core & Advanced) 5+ years (hands-on backend experience).

- Microservices architecture 5+ years.

- RabbitMQ 5 years (Intermediate level).

- Apache Kafka 4+ years (Advanced).

- JSON-based APIs 4+ years (Advanced).

- MongoDB 4+ years Skills :

- Experience in E-commerce / FinTech / Payments domain.

- Exposure to Python, R, Big Data, and Analytics.

- Knowledge of geo-distribution databases and geo-based application development.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and startup culture.

Personality & Work Culture Expectations :

- Strong communicator with the ability to lead whiteboard sessions and brainstorming discussions.

- A self-starter, adaptable to changing requirements, with a strong learning mindset.

- Committed to ownership, responsibility, teamwork, and timely deliverables.

- Prior startup exposure is a significant advantage.
